Application Information

The use of an overlay when grit blasting may be needed.

The overlapping end is designed not to lift at high-velocity grit blasting or thermal spray.

About DW 469

DW 469 is a pressure-sensitive fiberglass heater tape made of closely woven glass fabric and high-temperature silicone adhesive. The glass fabric has excellent abrasion and heat resistance.

This product meets Federal Aviation Regulation Part 25.855 (a-1).

Application Information

This pressure-sensitive adhesive tape is used primarily in electrical applications including splicing and positioning in coils and support rings, reinforcing slot insulation and armature coil insulation. It is also used in high-temperature applications such as transformers, solenoids, appliances, and thermal spray masking.
